What's new at Controversy?!
Hey everybody,how are you?We've been great here at the "cutest little boutique on Sweet Auburn".A whole bunch of things have been happening and we just wanted to give you a little update.Mmmmm...let's see.
*Our good friend,D. Woods of Danity Kane,was in the store last week and we were talking about some amazing projects she has coming up with and without Danity Kane.If you haven't heard the new cd,Welcome to the Dollhouse,please go and pick it up.It's amazing and our girl is singing and writing all over it.Also be on the lookout for an event that we will be hosting featuring her and the line that she's a new spokesmodel for!!!
*Yesterday we had the pleasure of styling Chili for some promotional pics being used to spread the word about her new single,"Dumb,Dumb,Dumb" (http://www.zshare.net/audio/10487013caea89ae/) ! She's a beautiful woman,wonderful mother,and exceptional artist.We had such a gorgeously great time and can't wait to see the shots.I must say we definitely did our thing on that shoot and we're sure you'll agree when you see the pics.They'll be up soon...
*Last but certainly not least,due to the tornado a couple of weeks ago there is some construction going on across the street from us that has the block closed off from automotive traffic.That does NOT mean PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC!You are more than able to park on Auburn Ave.,Bell St.,or Jesse Hill Jr. Dr. and walk up to us,so come on down.WE MISS YOU!Yes,I'm talking to you!!!Come let us know how your spring is blooming(wink).Check out some of the new merchandise we have,especially the great bags and shoes and the "little black dress" initiative we've started.I promise you'll love it.Our hours have changed to 11 a.m. -7 p.m. until May 31st but we're still here Monday through Saturday.As a special incentive to get you here we'll give you 15% off of your total purchase if you say CHILI when you check out.
I think that's about it....OH,I ALMOST FORGOT!Victor is teaching a dance workshop tonight(4/16/08) so go on his page and get the info(www.myspace.com/fashionablefella). I'll be there and I hope to see you there too.It's for women of all skill levels and I guarantee that you'll break you sexiest sweat ever!!!Now...that's all folks!See you soon ladies and remember to spark a little controversy today.Muah!

What is controversial about Controversy Boutique?
a potential customer asked me what is so controversyal about controversy boutique?
I thought this was a great question and wanted to post my answer on OUR BLOG because This is a Great Question! ... what do ya'll think OF US?
